AC Milan out to spoil Inter's party in derby

AC Milan is two points behind Fiorentina, which visits bottom-half side Cagliari, for the fourth and final Champions League spot with three games to play.

A Milan loss to Inter on Sunday coupled with a Fiorentina win would put Milan all but out of Champions League contention, which might make Sunday's game even more important for the Rossoneri.

Inter took the first meeting this season in 2-1 fashion back in December as Esteban Cambiasso scored the winner in the 63rd minute, and with so much on the line, Sunday's match promises to be another thrilling battle.

Milan captain Paolo Maldini is unlikely to play because of a thigh injury, which could prevent him from suiting up for his final Milan derby if he decides to retire at the end of the season.

Inter will again be without striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic as he continues to battle a knee problem.

Roma will hope for an Inter slip-up to try and close the gap with a win at sixth-place Sampdoria, while third-place Juventus has already clinched a Champions League spot but would like to move into second place and claim an automatic berth. Juve is five points back of Roma and will visit Siena.

Seventh-place Udinese is chasing a berth in Europe and travels to relegation- battling Empoli, while middle-of-the-table clubs Palermo and Lazio clash at the Stadio Olimpico.

Last-place Livorno invades Atalanta as they are four points from safety with three games to play, while Parma, which is three points from avoiding the drop zone, hosts Genoa. Reggina is level on 33 points with Empoli for the last relegation spot and visits Catania Calcio and Torino is just one point clear of Reggina and hosts Napoli.
